When he was in command of the Italian Army more than two centuries ago, Napoleon reportedly stopped at this locanda. But with its history dating back to the 1600s, he was not the only illustrious figure to have set foot in the restaurant. Located near the Villaggio il Borghetto, it is well known for trout dishes as well as agnolotti (a type of tortellini) prepared from an antique recipe. The indoor rooms are warmly decorated, but on a nice day ask for a table on the terrace overlooking the river.
